The Lucy, take 3

Nere mutiko denak kanpoan daudenez, ni josteko txokora lotuta nago! Bizioa? Eeeeez!

While all my boys are away I'm tied to my sewing corner. Addicted? Who, me?

Nere lagunak emandako tela bat aukeratua nuen, hasieran izugarri itsusia iduritu zitzaidana, baina hiru aldiz begiratu ondoren maitemindu nintzen. Argi nuen, beste Lucy bat tokatzn zen. Beste bi josi ditut hemen eta hemen (oraindik publikatu gabe).

One of my friends gave me a few left over pieces of fabric and I absolutely hated this one, but after looking at it a few times I fell in love with it. And I knew it had to be another Lucy for sure. I've sewn another two, here and here (not posted yet).

Beste aldaketatxo batzuk egin dizkiot, eta honetan, fundamentu pixka batekin "vistak" egin dizkiot, aurrekoa bies-arekin bukatu nuen. Bai, alfer xamarra naiz, eta batez ere ansiosilla bat.

I made some little changes, and this time I used facings, unlike last time, that I finished it with bias tape. Yes, I'm pretty lazy, or anxious, or probably both.

Botoiak beste modu batera egin nahi nituen, denak desberdinak, baina igandea zen eta dendak itxiak zeudenez, nolabait bukatu beharko, hurrengo egunean estrenatzeko. Nituen botoi haundi bakarrak aurreko Lucy-an erabilitakoak ziren eta ez nituen errepikatu nahi, asike buelta eman nien eta kokozkoak botoi sinpleak gelditu ziren :-(. Agian aldatuko ditut.

I wanted to use all different buttons, but it was Sunday so the shops were closed, and I obviously had to wear the jacket on Monday, so I had to finish it somehow. The only big buttons I had left were the ones I used in the previous Lucy and I didn't want to repeat them, so I turned them over and ta-da! New coconut buttons! I'm thinking of changing them though. We'll see.

PATROIA/PATTERN: the Lucy
TELA/FABRIC: Lagun batek emandako retalak. Left over pieces of fabric from a friend.

Eta honekin banoa Rums-era, ia besteek zer egin duten aste honetan.

Now I'm off to Rums to check what others made this week.

  4. Desde luego que si! Tengo que hacer un gran esfuerzo porque las telas que mas me gustan no son las que mejor resultado me dan. Que vivan las telas feas y sosas con resultado precioso!
